You undeniably want to make the best decision for your baby, but this decision may be quite challenging. The most vital features involved while selecting a baby bottle are:

· The bottle must allow proper passage of air though air-colic system. This is because Breastfed babies have low colic, and any incorrect air passage an create colic.

· The baby bottle must be easy to maintain, assemble and clean. Bottles with disposable liners and quick sterilizing solutions are important to take into consideration

Choosing Plastic Bottles

Cons

Size

Baby bottles are available in stores in two sizes, with those sizes being 120ml and 240ml bottles. Its recommended to give babies 120ml bottles before the age of 4 months, but after that they should get the bigger size to 240ml. If using a glass bottle, its advised to buy the 240ml bottle from the start, due to its long-lasting qualities, but if the bottle is made out of plastic, just stick with the original recommendation.

Recommendation

I have fed many babies over the years, while using many varies of bottles. No matter how impressive a bottle might appear, or the feature shown in the commercials, I am yet to see any sort of evidence that one shape and/or design of a bottle or nip makes one better than the other.

In my experience, all babies prefer different bottles and nips based on their preference, such as some babies can’t drink without a certain sized bottle due to their preference. This has also been experienced by me when I gave my sister the exact same bottle, but with a different colour. As she took it from my hand, she pouted at me and hit the bottle off the table and she refused to drink.
